This is true, but at the same time, it seems there's a sudden increase in
incidence of these problems lately. Is it not possible that the recent
changes with respect to the duplicate arrays might have a subtle issue in
them? Those AFAICT only come into play for index trees, which are the only
place I've seen this problem so far. From a cursory look through that
changeset I don't see an obvious issue though.
