Ok, strange things happening here....
If I boot to live CD it will almost get done loading the desktop and will
KDL. If I boot to the installer then use the task manager to "restart
Desktop" I get a fully functional desktop. Right up until I kill the
installer then I get KDL. If I leave the installer screen running it will
work for a while and then KDL.
Installing to HD. I can setup the Hiaku partition, and start the
installer. I get HD activity and CD activity. But nothing from the
progress bar.... Waited about an hour, with constant activity from the CD
and HD, then KDL
