#7671: Installer halting when installing over existing installation. -----------------------+------------------------------ Reporter: 6foot3 | Owner: nobody Type: bug | Status: new Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: - General | Version: R1/Development Keywords: | Blocked By: Blocking: | Has a Patch: 0 Platform: x86 | -----------------------+------------------------------ I've been in the habit of installing over my existing installations just to see if the new versions break anything that was installed before. It has worked until fairly recently but, with the past few release candidates I've been getting a dialog box popping up that reads "An error was encountered and the installation was not completed. Error: File or Directory already exists". This happens pretty much as soon as copying starts (15 of 22645). I have a screenshot I can attach if necessary. Do I need to attach a syslog for this? -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/7671> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
