 get you more information.

If you have a FAT32 partition on the laptop or on a FAT32 USB stick/HD,
there is a relatively easy way to provide a syslog: Reset (but don't power
the machine off!), immediately enter the boot loader menu, and in the
debug submenu choose to save the debug syslog to disk. More info:
 [http://dev.haiku-os.org/wiki/ReportingBugs#KernelBugs]. Since laptops
usually don't have a reset button, not powering off the machine might not
be possible, if the system hangs. If you can enter the kernel debugger
(Alt-SysReq-D) and type there, it's not a problem, though (command
 `reboot`).

Moreover in the kernel debugger you can retrieve more useful information,
via the command `teams` and `threads` for starters. All output also ends
up in the debug syslog. If you can't access or save it for some reason,
please take pictures of the screen.
