So the cases would be:
Preferred handler set for subtype - use that one.
Preferred handler not set for subtype but set for supertype - use the
supertype handler.
The "best" handler that is set (subtype > supertype) could not be found -
full Open With dialog.
No preferred handlers set - full Open With dialog.
A handler that is set preferred but not found is a configuration problem,
and one which the open with dialog will allow the user to fix straight
away.
