Kallisti5, as requested, I'm attaching the syslog from r42925. I removed
the 2600pro patch and did a jam -qa build.
I don't recall if the boot icons were visible on r42889, but they are
visible on the r42925 build. However, I still a black screen after the
boot icons change colours unless I use safe_mode_video.
