Videos with media player or VLC are very choppy unwatchable on older CPUs
without hardware overlay. Video playback is fine on the same hardware
with BeOS and works fine with X11 on Linux (search GATOS project for
details).
Note: There was no ati driver selection under the Graphics and the radeon
driver is a different beast.
