Build-O-Matic is capable of providing the same image file as one or more
archive formats. The implementation is flexible and allows the builder to
specify the compression binaries, options, and extension inside an
[http://dev.osdrawer.net/projects/haikubuildomatic/repository/entry/branches/rewrite2/data/archivers.xml
archivers.xml] data file. Then each jam target is capable of specifying
which of the available formats to use for compressing itself. My only
concern is the additional disk consumption on HaikuFiles. Currently, 97G +
97G + 60G are being used for raw/, vmware/ & cd/ respectively.
