#3164: Bug in terminal when using curses app over ssh -------------------------------------+--------------------------- Reporter: noisetonepause | Owner: siarzhuk Type: bug | Status: assigned Priority: normal | Milestone: R1 Component: Applications/Terminal | Version: R1/pre-alpha1 Resolution: | Keywords: gci2011 Blocked By: | Blocking: Has a Patch: 0 | Platform: All -------------------------------------+--------------------------- Comment (by Kev): > >So I have to suspect nano at your CentOS as the troublemaker. > > I'm not sure how that's possible. I have no problems doing the exact same thing with another CentOS box as the client, or PuTTY on Windows as the client, or MobaXTerm for Windows as the client. I just tried vi, which I don't normally use, and it doesn't exhibit this behaviour. So maybe to be more precise, it's not nano at my CentOS, and it's not Terminal, but the combination of the two. Change either of them for something else and it works. The question is, is it one or the other or both that might need changing in some way. -- Ticket URL: <http://dev.haiku-os.org/ticket/3164#comment:16> Haiku <http://dev.haiku-os.org> Haiku - the operating system.
