@jprostko & pulkomandy -- booted this machine again today, intent on
figuring out if it was the Mouse_settings file or an input_server problem
(as in #8502), but it could be something entirely different: USB
troubles.. Because, the other day I had an external HDD plugged-in beside
my USB mouse and that's where I had these trouble. Today the external HDD
is gone (I'm gone transferring the files from a drive that has the "click
of death") and the mouse buttons and mouse wheel behave perfectly.
Go figure..
