[hackpgh-discuss] Window o' LEDs...

For anyone missing the meeting last night,
Gene has taken point on the window project,
much to Scott's relief.

Actually that happened just after the last
meeting when Gene, with Sarita's help,
put the lights themselves into the window.
Next step is the duplication of the prototype's
controller board. We voted last night to
dedicate one of the shop's Arduinos for the
light control.

Anyone wanting to help get the controller
hardware set up, please coordinate with Gene.

Our (the shop's) constraint is two-fold:
1) that we have access for uploading code,
etc. without having to move the table
that is in front of the window.
2) that we keep the prototype board and
window controller board in sync (same inputs,
etc.) We expect that new interfaces will
be easier to prototype on the prototype board
so that might 'lead' while a new interface
is under construction.

Anthony, who did the code that is running
on the prototype board now, has already setup
a wiki page(*):

http://www.hackpittsburgh.org/wiki/index.php?title=Glassblock_GE-35_LED_Project

A version(+) of the code running on the prototype
prototype board is available at:

(*) Any member who wants a wiki account,
please email info@... We had to disable self-created
accounts because of spam. :-(

(+) With the various events we've done,
and with various last minute changes at/for
those events, the provenance of the code
that is actually running on the board is unclear.
That doesn't matter though, because the
important part of Anthony's code is seeing
how the lights themselves can be controlled.
