I took a look at it tonight and the line-in power circuit on the Arduino is
messed up. It appears to still work over USB by itself, but nothing when
plugged in via the barrel jack. I tried replacing the voltage regulator but
they just seem to overheat like they’re shorted, so it’s something else. I’m
guessing the circuit that switches between USB and line-in power. Either way
we’ll need to replace the Mega. I left it disconnected along with the mount
screws in a little tray sitting on the print bed so it’ll be quick to swap out.

Bob,
It was working for me two weeks ago. I have extra Arduino Megas, and I will
swap out the next time I'm down.
