What? they let us use formula sheets! Calculators were not allowed though.
Anyway, from experience, real engineering is nothing like your exams. You
can use books, calculators, matlab, and you have weeks and months not 1
hour. Hold on there Joachim. Get through it, and the stuff you already do
at HackPGH is what real engineering is really like. Its hands on, and all
about experience and intuition.
However, calculus 2 in particular is very important for the rest of your
engineering studies. Especially partial fractions and being able to do
certain kinds of integrals. When you get into fourier series and transform
and laplace frequency domain analysis. So its not useless, its just not
nearly as hard in the real world.
