Everyone, I am compiling footage I took as well as any other footage of the
ATM. The more footage the better. I think it is going to be a pretty
awesome video. The video will be going on YouTube channel, Makerj101. If
you let me use your footage in my video I will happily sight you in the end
credits or description unless you would rather be "under the radar".
Easiest way for me to use your footage is if you upload to Google Drive and
share the folder with me. Other drives and file sharing services also work.
Share with jjoachimhall@xxxxxxxxx. Sooner is better as I would like to get
the video out in the next couple of days.
Like Simon said, I think I may be the only one who does any serious video
editing at HackPGH. I could possibly do a short HackPGH class using Sony
Vegas 13. I certainly don't know a whole lot but I do know more than the
basics. Sony has a free trial so everyone taking the class would use that
for the class and then purchase if they like the software. It would pretty
much be a basics course. Cutting, hotkeys, transitions, pan and crop,
grouping, importing, rendering, etc. Just about everything you would need
to start producing videos like what you see on my YouTube channel.
As far as video editing for people, I would want some kind of legal tender
or something in return. It tends to be a time consuming process and unless
I have a comparable incentive to do it I would rather just edit my own
footage. I have hundreds of hours of unedited footage on my computer that
need to go on my channel eventually.

Not necessarily as online classes (though that would be another very
interesting thing to explore) but more as promotional videos.
In addition, building up a list of videos and perhaps some viewership
