You can zip with XP, but I don't know how you would make an
executable zip file. Just to zip, though, select the files, and go
to send-to in the context menu (or sometimes the files menu) and
select 'compressed zipped folder'.

i know that Windows XP has an unzip utility. Does it also have the ability to ZIP files, or do you have to use a 3rd party utility like WINZIP? If XP can ZIP files, how do you go about it?
