Hi Keith, No I'm not. But I find enquiring with Google (http://www.google.com) very helpful in improving my image as being an obnoxious "know it all"! And most of my searching is done in seconds. I'm all for trying to help people, but let's face real life. Someone installs software from they know not where. Do they: 1) Listen to the dialogs which come up during installation, and consider the options offered? NO! 2) Press Alt + h and look at the Help Menu? (A standard Windows command) NO! 3) Find out where the product is supported from? NO! 4) Look for something like a Tools: Options menu? NO! They just bash ahead, and expect other users to tell them what there problems are. I rest my case. George. ________________________________ From: guispeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:guispeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bundy, Keith Sent: Thursday, June 28, 2007 5:40 PM To: guispeak@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [guispeak] Re: StopSign Thanks much, George. They will be able to advise on how to resolve this issue. If all else fails, try looking up "cookies" in the application's Help files. He said that this program found more than thirty "threats" or viruses that AVG didn't find. However, now he cannot log onto Ebay since a lot of pop-ups come up saying there are cookies. From my Google search, I find that this program is apparently some sort of virus checker and Spyware cleaner rolled into one. Does anyone know anything about this? My thinking is that, for accessibility purposes, he would be better to remove StopSign and download AVG or something similar. Thanks for your thoughts.
