Using windows XP home, service pack 2 with all current updates, I discovered that the first 180 folders that showed under my windows folder had titles which were variants of NT*uninstall. 180 folders of what seem like they must be for updates of windows seems a bit extreme. Would anyone know if these are necessary to keep over time? I would assume that the first 100 or so have been used long enough that it is unlikely I would be uninstalling them. Am I unusual in finding I have this large number of NT*uninstall folders in my windows folder? Do these have a function in addition of facilitating the removal of updates to windows and IE which might turn out to misbehave? Ron Denis
