I've run into those "windows has updated your system and needs to be restarted" automatically. But I don't have the reboot over and overagain messege going on though.

Subject: [guispeak] Automatic Restart

Several days ago, when I booted the computer, I got the message that Microsoft had installed a critical, security update, which requires an automatic restart. Before I had time to look for an OK button, the message disappeared. I asked my sighted wife to watch as the computer booted, and she could see no button. A simple restart from the start menu does not help. What should I do next. the term "automatic restart," isan oxymoron in this context. The computer won't automatically restart, and there seems no way to trigger an automatic restart.

thank you.
