It is a stand alone freeview box with no screen, with full audio prompts, it plays tv and radio stations with audiodescription when it is available, it has a dvd and cd player, an internal recorder for recording programmes, a full electronic program guide and information and ceefax information with full speech and much more. The internal memory has equivalent to record about 250 recording hours. If you put a dvd disc ito it it automatically selects the audio description if it is available so you do not need to do anything. It is only about the size of a dvd recorder and is portable enough to take on holiday. It requires a propper house erialand it does not seem to work with a portable erial. It costs a fortune at eight hundred and seventy-six pounds including postage but considering what you get it is worth the money. Cheers Kevin
