I lived in a three bedroom semi detatched house with two living rooms.

It was January 2006 I had no central heating and the inspector came several
times from January to March 2006, sending out workmen to do the work of air in
the radiators, bleeding the radiators etcetera.
March 2006 the inspector sent out a workman to change the pump in the upstairs
airing cupboard.
The workman changed the pump in the morning, about elevenish to twelvish
dinnertime.
It was coming up to midnight of the same day the new pump was put in that all
this water fell on me and I went into shock, I had a big panic attack, my heart
beat faster than you can imagine, my stomach did somersaults, I could hardly
breathe or get my words when I telephoned the emergency number which was a lady
called Ann.
I went through a whole tree forest of tissues and toilet rolls crying as I
tried to tell Ann what happened.
Ann stayed on the phone with me until the emergency man came trying to keep my
scaredness calm.
The emergency man checked everything and said the workman that put the pump in
had knocked the pipe out of the tank.

Next day I had no water in the whole house, I telephoned again and again this
lady's same distinguished voice Ann answered and she sent out workmen who said
the man who fixed the tank had knocked all the fibreglass into the tank and
blocked the piping system up.
On the telephone again and Ann answered again who sent out workmen who came out
virtually every day by me crying on the phone to Ann, because there was no
water to bath, wash, clean my teeth, cannot flush the toilet, cannot wash the
soaking wet clothes, the whole airing cupboard items like bath sheets, sheets,
duvet covers etcetera were all soaking, bed soaked, wardrobes of clothes and
coats soaking etcetera, anerglypta wallpaper came away from the walls,
suitcases on top of the wardrobe with personal keepsakes, photographs and
documents all sopping wet etcetera.

Social Services and Day Services sent out two litre bottles of water for me to
use to flush the toilet, clean my teeth etcetera and put all the soaking wet
things into black bin bags.

I bought a cheap divan bed from Argos until I could find a decent one, but it
had cardboardy hardboard on the base and I have to flop to get myself into bed
and I fell into the divan with the duvets on top of me, I felt like I was in a
ready made coffin.
Day Services Helen gave me a second hand bed, I still have the base to this day.
I bought an Ikea bed and the best Ikea memory mattress they had, the bed when
put together was too low for my situation, it was virtually floor level, when I
need the highest bed possible.

I cannot count the days I continuously telephoned and the amount of times the
workman came out.
Workman came out and towel dried the attic tank.

I heard children playing outside, the carer said the children were off from
school for the holidays, this was the day the workmen took the cylinder tank
out of the airing cupboard and swilled it out in the garden.
All this time still no water, not a trickle.

All this time the taps were left fully on, as the workmen said the pressure
might make it work.

They wallpapered, painted and artexed upstairs.

One day the workmen said you can have a bath now, we have put the heater on for
you.
When ready, the water was running and full of this slimy stuff.
Workmen back out again, they said it is a good sign, the slimy stuff is fibre
glass.

It was the following January 2007 when the workman put the electric back on the
ceiling.

I phoned around for a solicitor, took a forever lot of phone calls, but
eventually found one, he said he would do it on a no win, no fee basis, but
gave up because I cannot do dates.

I had to represent myself in court on numerous occassions and the opposite
side's solicitor asks for something and gets it, like having the dates moved
forward, making me get receipts, lucky for me I bought online and from
telephone catalogue that I was able to obtain the receipts they wanted.
Then he asked the Judge to order me to get a doctor's letter to confirm I had
these panic attacks.
I went to the doctors and got a letter to confirm and I sent it to him by post,
to which they said they had not received, so sent them another one, to which I
kept telephoning daily to see if they had received it, no not received it,
weeks later they said they found it.
Then on the telephone he said the letter is not good enough, that he wants my
medical records to which I refused, as I think the letter and Ann to be my
witness in court is suffice.
So he gets me to go to court again, to which I lose my shopping day as Social
Services take my shopping day off me to go to Court or Doctors or Hospital,
then I cannot buy fresh food or things I need.
In court the Judge had fast tracked it to March this year and I have to ask
everyone what these big words mean like fast track, they talk double dutch in
court language.
This time in court the opposite solicitor asked for it to be longer again, yes
he has in own way again, it is moved again to be fast tracked to may.
And I have to sign for him to have my medical records, if I refuse the Judge
said I will be in contempt of court.
What is contempt of court? Is it if I refuse I go to prison and have regular
meals, see people, have clean bedding, go out in fresh air daily, have a
computer in my cell and where everyone plays pool and has fun with other games,
sounds like a nice place.
