Hi Roland, I thought I had some funny butties but I draw the line at kippers
and jam together. I like both but not as one. But I dare say you wouldn't like
mine. Jelly butties. Each to his own. hehehehe.

Malcolm.

To all the old timers and youngsters alike.

Applause is required for all the old timers that went through the rigors of the
50's and 60's. Blimey, beef dripping sandwiches for Sunday tea pure luxury
thats what that was. Some of us had to manage with Pig's trotter brawn for
Sunday Dinner and suck the bones for tea.
Still, it went nice with the cabbage and mash. Marge and sugar sarnies were a
real treat, ah the good old days.

Of course nowadays being spoilt and all that, we give the grandkids
up market sarnies such as tinned salmon, avocado and strawberry sauce, lovely,
you want to try it. Another nice sandwich is warm kipper and strawberry jam,
yes, together.

School meals, now theres something special about the 50's and 60's especially
the desserts. Who remembers Sago and Semolina with prunes, fantastic. Rat
trap Cheese and onion mashed potato pie, brilliant.

I feel hungry now, think I'll go and have myself a bit of that Lancashire hot
pot the wife cooked earlier.

Oh, by the way girls, try Chocolate Spread with a sprinkle of Chilli dust for a
real Mexican taste.

all the best chatters.
