Subject: [guide.chat] To My Dad and all his Guide Friends.
As you know my dad likes to laugh and joke a lot and some times it gets him in
trouble. Also a lot of you have privately asked my dad about me. so I want to
tell you the story of my life.
I was born about six or seven years ago and at ten weeks old I was taken from
my mother and went to live in a big posh house in Wimslow. Cheshire. Where all
the rich people live. Things went well and I was happy most of the time. Then
when I was about three or four, I'm not very good with figures because I'm
only a cat, but I'm very good at jumping. I don't remember very well but at
about four years old I don't remember weather I got myself lost or I was thrown
out of the house as unwanted any more. I'm really not sure, Its like a mental
block out as you humans call it. Any way in 2009. December. I was found
wondering the streets of Wimslow with malnutrition. I was on the edge of
dyeing, another cold night and it would have finished me off I think. I
remember this lady picking me up and taking me home with her. She had a funny
voice and I couldn't tell what she was saying to me. It turned out she was
French. Anyway it turned out that she was from animal rescue. She took me to
her house and introduced me to nine other cats and one dog. I was shaking in my
fur. She fed me and covered me up after eating to get me
nice and warm because I had no weight on me. I was so relieved to feel safe
again and I fell fast asleep. I was scared to get up in the morning in case
this lady was going to throw me out again so I stayed where I was and pretended
to be fast asleep. Then I felt myself being lifted out of my bed and taken to a
dish of food, After she took me to the vets for a check up and the doctor said
I need plenty of good food and warmth and most of all plenty of love. It was
nice there but there was one big black cat there that kept bulling me. just me
not the others. This made me very scared. I was there for about nine weeks then
this blind man came in and was looking for a cat to take home with him. He
looked at all the other cats first. They didn't see me because I was frightened
so I hid under the couch. The lady said when she found me she pulled me out and
showed me to this blind man and told him about the other cat bulling me. That
seemed to make his mind up because I heard him say. Can't have that can we,
I'll take him home with me. The paper work was done and money paid and off we
went in a big car. We must have travelled about twenty miles to this new house
I was going to . I was getting scared now because I didn't know what lay ahead
of me.
I'm just going to take a cat nap now for a few minutes. Back soon.
This is hard work for a pussy cat, good job my dad is helping me.
Now lets see where was I. oh weS. ive lived with my dad now for two years and
I have grown to trust and love him very much. He has given me a lovely warm
home to live in and two lovely big gardens to play in and sun bathe in, They
have very high fences to keep me safe and I have my own cat flap doors to come
and go as I like. Day and night. Some times at night when I go out there could
be foxes and badgers about and the other night there was an owl. big thing it
was too. My dad's always laying down on the couch so I jump up and sleep on his
knee or chest. Some times I kiss him on the cheeks because I know he likes it
and its my way of saying thank you dad for picking me. I'm a very happy pussy
now because we have a new bed with a massager in the mattress so I love it and
curl up in his arm and we go fast asleep together. He buys me the bestest food
and he brushes me to make my fur nice and shiny. I have learnt to jump now so I
jump up on the computer desk and talk on skype to my doggy friend in America
and others. When he plays his mouth organ I sing with him. Sometimes he asks me
to sing on skype to his friends but I shut up because I'm shy when asked to do
it.
Well that's about it. By the way he didn't put me in the micro-wave, He was
only joking. That's my dad for you. I know these girls on the emails have made
him very happy. Keep it up girls.
Well I'm all done now so I am of to bed, Come on dad you have to switch on the
massager for me please. Love you loads dad come on.
