Subject: [gsis_admins] Newsletter, etc.
Greetings!
I wanted to touch base and give an update on the status of the newsletter. I
am going to add a section introducing the new board members. However, I wanted
to make sure they have been contacted and accepted the position.
As of noon today, I will be off from my day job to spend some time with the
visiting grandchildren. I will still be checking email, etc. in the evenings.
That is probably when I will be finishing the newsletter and sending it out for
review.
To recap some of the items we discussed adding to the newsletter....
* GSIS Conference/district budget reminder
* Registration application open
* Announcement of the free 2018 registration for Amy Evor, Pierce County
* Announcement of the two new GSIS Board members
Some items to add...
* GSIS Committees
* Presenter volunteers needed...plan ahead to present in 2018
* Vendor contact recommendations from districts
* Survey results????
Any other suggested recommendations????
