Good morning,
The Georgia Department of Education will ask the State Board of Education
to begin rule-making procedures for rule 160-4-7-.15 Georgia Network for
Educational and Therapeutic Support (GNETS). The announcement for the GNETS
rule public hearings is attached. The announcement outlines the dates,
times, and locations for four scheduled public hearings. The purpose of the
public hearings is to collect stakeholder comments as part of the
rule-making process. The public hearings will ensure that we consider
stakeholders’ comments before SBOE initiation and adoption of the GNETS
rule.
Although attached, all documents and updates relative to the GNETS rule
public hearings can be downloaded at GNETS RULE DOCUMENTS
