I've heard from a couple of skippers that they are behind in getting PHRF rating, so I'll repeat my offer to just handicap them as best I can off the internet(google PHRF ratings (boat name)). PHRF Chesapeake Bay is best source as far as I am concerned, as conditions are sometimes reflected by local handicappers. But I'm not going to try to make the cruising adjustments, etc. We've about got a schedule worked out for the year. Will be three series, six races each, with two throw-outs, racing most Sunday afternoons. I'd like to make at least a couple of them point-to-point races, where we'll go somewhere on a Saturday, then race back Sunday. Pagan River Challenge will be like that: Many of the boats will be at Norfolk Yacht Club or Willoughby that Saturday, so we'll start at one of the channel markers in the Eliz River and race back here. Should start late enough so that you could get there on same day if you wanted to. More to come. So far, I've gotten a couple of inquiries from the notice John put in the times. I will plan a few hours of "ground school" for late March, early April, then maybe a practice session on the water. See ya.
