[gpsbug] 2009 Racing Schedule

Last night party was a blast. Thanks for coming. John Edwards (Recovery)
took home the most trophies, but also contributed a delicious smoked
Rockfish. Richard Cassell (Alexis) got a couple of trophies, and so did Tom
Orlowski (Tranquillity). Steve Butkus (Windrush II) broke into the
hardware owners, and I got a trophy for Rebecca mostly because Alexis took a
lot of time off last year. And I sipped enough of the Captain to have a
headache this morning.
I have moved "Rebecca" to Hampton Yacht Club and plan to race her there on
Wednesday evenings and in the CCV series, as well as Southern Bay Race Week,
the Little Bay Challenge, and possibly Cock Island. If you want to crew on
any of those races, let me know.
I plan to crew on various boats during the White Shoal series, and will do
committee duties from there, most likely Tranquillity or Windrush II.
Please note that the 2009 racing schedule has been posted. Use your web

Click on the sailboat, then click on the Calendar. Please note the
following:
(1) May 2nd and June 13 will have two races.
(2) May 9 (Spring series #4) will be a race from somewhere near the reserve
fleet back to Pagan River.
This is to facilitate most of the fleet returning from Two Rivers.
(3) June 21 (Summer series #4) will be a race from somewhere near Craney
Island to Pagan River.
This is to facilitate most of the fleet returning from Cock Island
Race.
Will stick with the same starting system used in 2008 - 10 min prep, 5 min
warning, all start at same time.
