Hello Mike, As for using NavTeq POIs yes we have a license for the full POI data, but MapQuest currently doesn't so until they license and put all the NavTeq POIs on the server we are suck with what they have to offer. The beauty is once they update their POI databases all our customers will get the update automatically. Since the NavTeq POIs were limited this was our main reason for also including FourSquare POIs as well as the ability to search through OSM POIs. Yes adding Google places is another option we are considering, Thanks. I remember reading that there are different levels of POI information that can be licensed. Also, you may want to consider adding google places as an option. It would be interesting to compare the POIS that Google and Foursquare provide.
