I believe what Josh has explained is that Loadstone can do route planning when used with a PC. So, the route calculations are done on a PC and those routes are then transferred to your phone.
Although this is a very interesting capability, this is not nearly as useful as being able to create routes whenever and wherever you happen to be. If you wander off-route, you can't exactly stop, find a PC, calculate a new route, transfer it to your phone and then carry on. All the dedicated accessible GPS systems other than the Breeze, have the ability to recalculate routes on the fly. All the Sendero systems can explore maps any place any time too. Although Loadstone in conjunction with a PC sounds like a very viable and inexpensive option, let's not confuse this option with the benefits of the truly mobile real-time accessible products.
