yes, you're absolutely right.
i had my compact flash card in my pk when i did a reset.
i must remember the tip.
my reason for writing off-list, is that i'm just being a bit curious as to where you are in ireland. i'm in gwalchmai, about 10 miles from holyhead and sometimes go over to ireland on the fery.

I got something like that once, when I did the pin reset, with

the

Compactflash card still inside.  therefore, when i am doing a

reset now, I

take it and any PCMCIA card out before doing so.  Works properly

ever since.
