If you miss it, you can go to KCBSCOM and find it there under their podcasts. . That should work for anybody, even though it's our local affiliate in the San Francisco area. Sixty minutes is usually up on the site the next day. Jim

Hello all,

The new satellites going up will be dual frequency so you will need new receivers that can utilize both frequencies not to mention both the US GPS system but also other systems as well like EGNOS and other countries GPS satellite systems. It is important to note that this has been going on for the last 5 years now where new satellites are being sent up to replace older ones and will continue with newer satellites, but this will all take time and the fully functional dual frequency based system wont be operational for
several years baring any delays.

Thanks.

Thanks for the interesting article on GPS. I wonder how much more accurate our present Sendero units would be with no further upgrades in the Sendero software or GPS receivers if the new improved satellites were to come online
now.
It will be really interesting to see what new things happen within say five years given the continued evolution in the already great Sendero product as well as improvements in the satellite system and software itself. Jim To change your email settings (unsubscribe, digest only, or vacation mode):
