Hi Jim,
I'll take a look at it to see what I can find out.
it just may be the inaccuracies of the commercial POIs combined with
the m-1000.

Hi Chris, okay, here's a GPS replay from Clay Street going north
on San Pablo Ave. I was walking on the west side of the street.
It stops at Carlson and San Pablo, Peets Coffee thus the name of
the replay file. The user poi's are accurate but the commercial
ones say they are on the right when the businesses are on the
left. I marked a user Poi which you won't have because I just
did it. It was at the front door of Alta Bates Medical Group
located at 500 San Pablo Ave. It is probably a couple hundred
feet off from where the commercial poi is but my user poi is the
accurate one. Jim

Hi,
could you send a replay the next time you walk through there?
Thanks

Hi, while walking home from the bus stop today, I noticed that
the
commercial poi's were on the wrong side of the street while the
user poi's
were correct. I am using the Holux m-1000 and do get correct
speed and
headings so am wondering why this would occur?

Hi,
what gps receiver are you using?
I wouldn't mind betting that you're not using the holux m1000.
When you are able to, invest in this receiver and it will solve
this
problem.
It's the best piece of equipment I've bought this year. It's
transformed
my gps system, making it an absolutely invaluable mobility aid.
I've not
had less than 8 sattellites so far, and am usually acquiring
10-11, and
sometimes 12.
also, I can now walk really slowly and still get a heading,
whereas before
I bought the m-1000, I couldn't get a heading no matter how fast
I walked.
Bear in mind, though, that I use a long cane, not a dog.
Regards, Richard.

Hi, record your Saturday walk as a gps replay and send it to
support@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
to start the replay press space with q, then give it a filename
when
prompted.
to stop the replay press space with q when done.
Thanks

Many thanks for your help me how to use "heading". it work on
the motor
vechile but not work on walk. I tried to walk faster but not
work. I will
try it again this Saturday as I will go to St. Paul, MN from and
to
Minneapolis MN. I am practing on the GPS mode only.

I also practiced what is correct for me to do with BNPK and
reciever power
on/off. Paired them.

It is pretty complex but it is good for me.
