Carol and Mary Ellen,

Here's what information I have for Handiworks:
800 331 6123
and
www.handiworks.com

Note it's spelled with an i rather than a y.

Hope that helps.

Kathy

I thought I actually had some contact information for you to get this case
but apparently got rid of it.
I have had this case for 2 years now and at that time it was about $60 so I
have no idea what they are in the British Aisles.
But there is a zipper pocket on the front which unzips to a pocket and on
the rear walls of that pocket are 2 individual leather pockets which hold
your flash cards. The main pocket is long enough to slip a network card
into
plus another flash card.
When the flap is folded back it makes a nice compact package and you can
take your strap and just hook it on to the loops on each side and off you
go.
The case also has a little tiny slot so the flash cards can stick out when
connected to the pk.
It is extremely well made and has gone with me on countless cross country
trips.
The case is called the professional and is worth its weight in gold,
believe
me.
And it is water resistant. I got caught in a downpour a few days ago and
was
grateful to be able to put the flap on top of the Braille Note and
absolutely no harm was done to the machine.
Hope this helps.

Thanks, Mary Ellen, for the additional info. I'm putting it on my
birthday list.

Well the bottom of the case is padded with a foam rubber type of
insulation but the top is not padded and it takes a little while for the
leather to stretch when you first get the pk into the case but once the
leather warms up, there is no problem with it. If you have ever seen the
leather Braille Note or Voice Note cases, that is what the case is made
out of.
Hope this helps.

Mary Ellen,

This interests me, even though I'm in the UK, because I do so miss a
pocket to store my cards. Presumably though, the folding of the case
underneath does make it a little more bulky. Is it a padded, soft
leather?

Thanks for any additional info you can give me.

Handyworks makes cases for pda and the pk case has a zipper pocket on
the front of it so you can store your flash cards in it. The case which
Hw supplies has no pockets in it but this is an extremely nice case
from Handyworks and the top of it folds underneath and is held fast by
Velcro.

Mary Ellen, what is a handyworks case for the PK? What features does
it have?

Well just last Saturday I was walking in the rain with my Braille
Note Pk so gently affixed the lid of the handyworks case to the
Braille display and it kept it just fine.
