Look, for the last time: I do NOT have any problem with the price! All I was saying was that it is a lot to ask a user to pay without offering any trial whatsoever, not that it is a lot to pay no matter what. As to investing making you more likely to use it, I can see where you are coming from there, but the majority will not invest in something on a chance that they will eventually find it useful. Of course, some will, but some will decide that the price is too high to pay based on zero experience. That's all I was saying; not that the app is unfairly priced, not that people should switch mobile operating systems (where'd that even come from?), not that Sendero did a bad job, not that the app is not worth it. As I said, I never expected such heated replies to what I thought was a simple message, and I'm still not sure why things flared up the way they did.
