Koji,
Welcome to the Sendero GPS, Robert has answered your question about the
user poi's. The current version we are shipping to our new customers is
version 3.51. The only changes from 3.5 to 3.51 were to implement some
changes required for Australia.
Your question about new updates is that the announcement will be to this
list and also a email sent to each Sendero user.

Hi all,
I have recently got the Sendero GPS for my PK. Before that, I had Trekker
GPS for a few days until I decided to return it. Boy what a difference. I
just love this thing. I play it all the time and I can't get enough of
this. Since I have a field job and travel constantly both by car and by
public transportation, this has been and will be very a useful tool. I just
never knew how much I can be of ah help to my driver and it gives me a lot
better ideas of where I am traveling. I also joined the list today.
May I ask you some questions to you Sendero experts?
I have gone to download user.poi from Sendero website but I am a little
nervous about replacing my user file. Is there a way to append mine to the
public user poi file? Almost all my POIs are to my customer's homes so I
have no reason to upload it for public use. I only have the Pennsylvania
maps installed on my PK. Will the public version of user.poi contain info
on PA?
Another question is about downloading future updates. Do I monitor this
mailing list to find out whenever they become available? When I received my
GPS, it said that the version is 3.51. But the website only talks about the
3.5 version. Is there a version newer than 3.51? If so, where do you get
it?
I would apreciate if one of you could assist me with these questions.
