Hi Mike,

Thanks, any tips you can pass along are certainly appreciated. Also, thanks
for the suggestion on cutting a hole in the case, I was wondering about how
to handle this as I can see that this would be needed to get at the on/off
switch.
Best Regards,

Les

Les,

The Holux is slightly thinner than the Earthmate serial but has a similar
footprint. You will see that it fits nicely into the Earthmate serial case.
Just slice a hole for the on/off switch on the left side and you are good to
go.

Don't forget that these Sirf Star 3 receivers do disconnect periodically. If
it seems that your BrailleNote is locked up, before you reset, turn the
receiver off. Usually this will release the BrailleNote and you will be able
to go to the main menu and load GPS again without resetting. Sendero does
not support or recommend these receivers at this point but I will pass along
tips like this.
Mike
