Here are a few items of note for February from Sendero Group.

We mentioned last month that there would be a new version of Sendero GPS LookAround for the iPhone. Some licensing and logistical items have delayed the release beyond our control. This new version when it comes out, hopefully soon, will have some new features and data availability in several new map regions around the world.

New videos and documents are now available including:

Sendero GPS 2011 video (http://senderogroup.com/public/gps)
Accessible GeoCaching video (http://www.youtube.com/mysendero#p/f/6/_pUbi8FB8Zo)
Sendero GPS flyer (http://senderogroup.com/downloads/SenderoGPSflyer.pdf)
Tutorial from the California School for the Blind for Sendero GPS 2010 (http://senderogroup.com/docs/Finding_Your_Way_GPS2010.doc).

Plan ahead to see Sendero presentations and products at SOMA, CTEBVI and CSUN booth 521

After 8 years with Sendero, we are sad to say goodbye to Sheila Small. She has been the voice of Sendero for a long time and a major advocate for Sendero customers. She is a major force around the office. Some of you have had the privilege of meeting her at conferences or on WayFun trips. She will be sorely missed and we wish her well in her next endeavor.

The Stevie Wonder House Full of Toys contest deadline has been extended to February 7, 2011. So if you weren't able to nominate that exceptional student for Sendero GPS on either a BrailleNote or a Voice Sense, don't worry you have one more week to do so.
