[gps-talkusers] Period after poi's

Hi, all. There's something that I personally would like to see modified in future GPS versions, and I thought I'd throw it out for discussion. I usually use my GPS while riding in a car, and usually have my BrailleNote set to speech on request, so I just use the Braille display. If I give a command, say to check how good my fix is or to read the address of a POI, the information of what I last read stays at the bottom of the display. So if a new POI triggers and I use the thumbkeys to read it, I have to know when to stop reading, because if I keep moving the display with the thumbkeys, it will go on down to the last thing I manually keyed in. So for example, if I checked the quality of my GPS and got good, 10 satellites, and then the next POI that triggered was the Department of Motor Vehicles, and I started reading with my thumbkeys, I'd get

Department of Motor Vehicles 25 feet ahead good 10 satellites.

So I'm wondering if in future versions we could have a period at the end of the POI's that trigger. So, in my above example, it would say

Department of Motor Vehicles 25 feet ahead. period

so I'd know to stop advancing the display, because what's next would be my

good 10 satellites.

The upcoming intersections trigger with a period after them, but the POI's don't. If I'm careful, I can catch myself on where I think the POI info probably ends, before I get down to what I last manually keyed. But I was just thinking it would be nice to have a period to know for sure. Or what about having what I last checked manually just disappear off the display entirely, with perhaps a command to recall it if I really wanted the info? Just things I've noticed and wondered about in my years of using GPS.
