Charles, I downloaded the GNIS data from both areas. I'm just curious, the
GNIS data from my personal account looked smaller than the 2008 GNIS file
from the my sendero extras page. Any thoughts?

If you got the GNIS data from your personal account then no, but if you
downloaded the GNIS from the MySendero extra's page then yes as that was
an
old 2008 copy. The GNIS data now lives in the North America download
section when you log into your account.
The Nav Aids hasn't changed.

Hello everyone,
Sendero has just updated the Extra POIs which can be found at
www.mysendero.com
For Sendero GPS 5.0 and 6.0 customers the links to the new files are
found under heading "Sendero GPS Version 5 or 6 Extra POIs, and Route and
POI Converter". These extra POI files also work with Mobile Geo 1.5
These files replace the old 2008 extra POIs. Make sure you delete
your old 2008 extra poi files or unexpected results may occur.
The new files all start with _poi* where the old ones were
2008_poi*. Make sure you delete all your old 2008_poi files.
Besides the name changes we have the latest June 2009 TriMet Bus
Stop data in Portland Oregon included in this release.
