Hi Charles Can this converter be used to convert older 40map.bpi file to the 2008-poi.pdb files as the map package for Singapore and Malaysia do not have any commercial pois that came with in this new release so using back the older commercial pois might be better than to have no commercial pois at all for version 5.02.When the Navigation software was launched with the Singapore, there was no report of any commercial pois found, but user pois were reported. When doing a poi search without the user.pdb file, there was no pois at all.

Hello everyone, We have created a new installation package for the conversion utilities from GPS 4.2 and earlier to 5.01 and SDK user using SDK version 2.1.143 to 3.0.215 (once a new version for your platform has been released.) We have changed the install from being an .MSI to a self-extracting .EXE file. There were some issues with the MSI and on older machines it would not install correctly. Remember this is a windows based conversion utility so you must install this on your windows PC. A temp directory will be created under C:\windows\temp called SenderoConversionUtilitiesInstaller which the installer will run out of and when completed you can remove this directory to free up disk space on your PC. This new POI utility will generate unique Thirdparty IDs for your old user POIs which will be used to avoid duplicates if you send your public POIs into Sendero for the collective user POIs. If you previously installed the original Conversion Utilities please use "Add/Remove Programs" in your control panel to un-install the old "Conversion Utilities" before installing this latest version 1.0.26.
