Hello Ronald
If your system says version 4.2 then you can get a free patch upgrade to 4.22 by going to www.mysendero.com and clicking on Map & Software Downloads, and logging into your account using your BrailleNote's serial number and your password.
Once you log in there will be an exe for you to download with the latest version for your BrailleNote.
You can also click on the link <http://www.senderogroup.com/howtousemysendero.txt>Read Map/Software download Instructions at www.mysendero.com for instructions on how to download and install the latest version.

If you are running 4.22 you do not need to install 4.03  4.22 is a
latest version of the GPS.
