Thanks very much for this, it sounds as though BlindSquare is what I need to
get then.

(I'm responing off-list)

With combination of BlindSquare + Google Maps 2.0 you can get all that. You
can search your destination with BlindSquare, start Google Maps ("Plan a
route" button in BlindSquare).

If you have set BlindSquare to run background, you'll hear turn-by-turn
from Google Maps and rest from BlindSquare (addresses, intersections both
walking and vehicle + POI's around you among other things I might want to
have).

Hi,

Can anyone tell me, please, how to set GoogleMaps so that I can see which
intersections I'm passing whilst walking or travelling in a vehicle? It's
not the turns I need to make during a prescribed route but, rather, knowing
which roads I'm passing between those turns!

I'm hoping GoogleMaps can be a usable option until such times that Sendero's
app is available here in the UK.

Thanks in advance.
