You can search your destination with BlindSquare, start Google Maps ("Plan a route" button in BlindSquare). If you have set BlindSquare to run background, you'll hear turn-by-turn from Google Maps and rest from BlindSquare (addresses, intersections both walking and vehicle + POI's around you among other things I might want to have).
