Hi,
to answer your first question, do the following:
1. press E then P to edit your user pois
2. move to the poi you wish to change the category.
3. press S to change the sub category.
4. move to the new category and press enter.
As far as your second issue:
If you can send us a replay or lat/lon where this happens We can
assist you.
