Well, I thought about using the word route, but I think it might look better in
Lime with the spacing of the measures and lyrics. Not sure how to make it look
readable in word. I do know how to write lead sheets in Lime, but just was
curious as to other’s suggestions as to how to go about doing this. Thanks,
Brian

Okay, one opinion. Do you really need to use Lime? You could write out the
lyrics in Word and write the chord letters underneath each line. I think
that would be faster, unless some people in the group do read music. For
that, you would need Lime, and I'll leave it to others to make suggestions.

Subject: [goodfeel] worship chart question
Hello all,
I’m reposting this to the list from a few days ago, wasn’t sure if it got
sent or not. Really would like some opinions on this.
Good morning all,
Wanted to get your opinion on something to see what would be the best way to
do this in lime. At the church where I serve as worship leader, I would
like to start writing charts for our guitarists and bass players to read
from. I would write them lead sheets, but from what I have been told from
the previous worship leader who served here, these guitarists do not read
music so if I handed them a lead sheet with notes on it, they would look at
me like I am crazy. So here is my question. What would be the best way to
write them a chart in Lime? Can I write a chart with lyrics and chords with
no melody line above it, or what would you all recommend? Is this doable in
Lime? Or for those who have had experience writing charts for worship
bands, how do you write them in Lime, I guess what is the best approach for
musicians who don’t read music and who need just lyrics and chords shown?
Or would you just write it in a lead sheet format with the lyrics and melody
line along with the chords. Curious to hear your thoughts. Thanks,
