CakeTalking 5.3 let's you use SONAR 5 with JAWS version 8. If you
already have CT 5, you will want to update as soon as possible as there's no
cost to do so for you.

By the way, new customers can order SONAR 5 from Dancing Dots and receive
the equivalent edition of SONAR 6 at no extra cost. When CakeTalking for
SONAR 6 is ready, everyone who has a licensed copy of CakeTalking for SONAR
5 will be eligible for a no-cost upgrade to CakeTalking for SONAR 6. Beta
testing for CakeTalking for SONAR 6 is going well and we anticipate a
release within weeks.

This new release of CakeTalking for SONAR 5 builds on the numerous features
found in the CakeTalking 5.2 update released a few months ago which included
greatly enhanced stability and speed, and a significant update to its
tutorial with scads of new information.

See http://www.dancingdots.com/ct/5.3/ for a
download link for CakeTalking for SONAR version 5.3.

In addition to compatibility with JAWS 8, you'll receive the following
important fixes:
1. When you load Sonar, by default, the Normal template will also open.
2. When Navigating in the drum map manager dialog's list views, sometimes
the current cell was either not being announced, or not being announced in
a user friendly fashion. This has been fixed.
3. When Navigating in the Control Surface dialog's list views, sometimes the
current cell was not being announced in a user friendly way. This has been
fixed.
4. When Up and Down Arrowing in the Synth Rack, sometimes the previous synth
was being announced rather than the currently selected synth. This has been
fixed.
