We know that our JAWS scripts perform slowly on some machines. We are
working on making them more responsive. But ten seconds of delay sounds
really extreme. What, if anything, else is running in the background? Do
you have User Account Control enabled?

Michelle again,
Meant to say in previous email, when I am going through the steps in setting
up my new score, note value, time and key signature
Along with single or double staff. Jaws is lagging running very slowly.
When I tab to an edit box it takes about 10 seconds to wait to jaws read
me what is going on. In other programmes it does not do that.
Because I am running lime update as instructed I have checked speech and
braille in the lime accessability from my start menu What version do
I run, I have the original and the update on my desktop.
