To add a pickup measure of a half a beat:
- Select the first note or rest of the piece.
- Select Insert Measures from the Page menu.
- Add 1 measure of 1/8 time if the time sig. is something/4 time. You should
probably make sure that "Insert all measures on current system" (or something
like that) is checked.

Hi all,
Would you tell me how to enter half-beat pick up measure? I searched on Lime
Manual and I only find ways to enter one-beat pick up, such as a quarter note
in four four time. I need this, since I am doing exercise that requires
half-beat pick up. It's in two two time and it requires two eight notes as pick
up measure. Any help?
