Just a quick update for those who asked about this particular feature.
Regarding consolidation of projects, we can actually create 2
organizations with their respective project names and then consolidate them.
@Ram ji, I hope this cleared your doubt.
Happy hacking.

We are almost done and guess what?
We have a new enterprise feature in the demo.
Now you can see balance sheet for a holding and subsidiary companies.
This is called balance sheet consolidation.
Thanks a million to Prabjyot and Rahul who have taken immense
efforts on implementing this feature.

Dear all GNUKhata users, clients and developers.
It gives me immense pleasure like never before to give this
news to you.
As the subject line says, we are releasing GNUKhata version 4
by the month end (29th March 2017) to be precise.
Version for is a high breed enterprise ready accounting and

our demo from <gnukhata.in <http://gnukhata.in>> if you are
more curious.
We will have account and inventory integration beginning by
this version.
We also have an account balance update while creating
transactions.
Becides all these enhancements, We have a lot of new reports
in Inventory module, such as unbilled delivery Chalans, stock
on hand report, product wise and godown wise stock statement etc.
We also have an activity log report.
Apart from these there are several refinements to existing
product and category system.
We may also have a couple of surprise features which we had
initially decided to do but then they were not complete so we
thought of keeping them on stand-by.
For beginners there will be context sensitive help on every
screen.
A complete new manual is also being completed by Mr. Kelkar.
All in all this is a major release in a true sence.
Happy hacking.
