The 28th Annual Carolina Band Festival and Conductors Conference brings
students from around the region for an intensive and high-level musical
experience. Nearly 200 talented students will participate, drawn from a
five-state area.

VERDI: Requiem
Original digital artwork designed by Prof. Chris Cassidy, Prof. Matthew
Hayes, and students in the UNCG School of Art.
Pre-concert conversation begins on the Auditorium stage at 6:30 p.m. with Dr.
Greg Carroll, Dr. Karl Schleunes, and Professors Cassidy and Hayes. They will
discuss the origins of Verdi's masterpiece, it's relevance today, and the
genesis of the original artwork.
ADMISSION
All UNCG band and orchestra events are FREE of charge. Tickets are not
required unless otherwise noted.
School Music Teachers: If you are a school band or orchestra director and
would like to bring your students to campus to attend a concert, please let
us know! Please call the UNCG Ensemble Office at (800) 999-2869 to receive
instructions for bus parking.
PARKING
UNCG (formerly Aycock) Auditorium: Parking is available in the large surface
lot south of the Weatherspoon Art Museum. DO NOT park in metered spaces or
those reserved for the Weatherspoon Art Museum.
Recital Hall, School of Music: Parking is available in the McIver Street
Parking Deck at a rate of $2.00 for the first hour and $1.00 for each
consecutive hour.
CONCERT STREAMING
CVPA Live!
For those who are unable to join us in Greensboro, these events will be
streamed online in high definition audio and video. Concert streams begin
approximately 15 minutes prior to the event start time. Concert programs
(PDF) will be posted once the stream begins.
