It seems that there is a problem with libexpat, probably it is
simply not installed. For SuSE, libexpat is provided as
expat.rpm, as it seems according to a quick google search for
Mandrake it is the same.
So try installing "expat.rpm" with your installation tool (e.g.
"rpm -i expat.rpm", maybe the file name is different...
