I am not sure I understand -- was it that there were not enough bents. My
understanding is that that we were cutting into the upright times! If we
had more bents we would just take more of their time away and this is why
they do not want bents back.
Can you elaborate on "we had our chance".
Maybe if we had a guaranteed amount of people prior to a certain date that
would resolve any issues with numbers.

I got a reply back from Craig Fagan at Midweek and it looks like
recumbents are out for the CHIN picnic. I guess we had our chance last
year and sort of blew it. Pretty disappointing but I guess we can try
again somewhere else when there is more interest.
